I want to say how amazing your studio and instructors are. I started back in May 2024 and do 3 classes per week with Mairead, Hannah and Patricia.
Everything about the classes is fantastic. I started out 12 months from my wedding date and my whole body-shape has changed, thanks to the amazing classes - might have to buy a new dress!!
I started reformer Pilates in March 2024, I would highly recommend doing the workshop for beginners and then going on to join the classes.
The workshop is a great way to get familiar with the carriage and most importantly everyone is at the same level to begin with.
I felt much more confident and comfortable starting the weekly beginner classes. The instructors are excellent and always on hand if you need help during your session.
The timetable offers endless classes and the website is brill for booking and amending classes and most of all if you are on a waiting list (which can happen as the classes are so popular) you will get an instant notification.
I'm three classes in and feeling fantastic.
Well done to you Orna and your amazing team.
Love this studio, love the classes, love the instructors and even the other members are great.
It's the first time I have been part of studio that each and every instructor is as good as the other.
You never know what the next move will be. I never once check the clock as I have done in other studios.
Love the classes.
Stepping up to doing two a week.
I really feel the benefits in such a short time.
I'm enjoying the classes and they have made a huge difference even though I usually only do one or two a week, which I combine with one or two sessions at the gym focused on stretching and mobility.
I was in a lot of discomfort last year with what appeared to be a hamstring issue and had tried online physio sessions without any improvement - I suspected perimenopause was not helping but as I have no other major issues, I didn't want to go on HRT.
However, after a few months I was literally in pain when I took the dog out for a walk, my joints hurt and I felt completely seized up. The difference within a couple of months of doing just one or two classes a week has been quite remarkable and I can now drive the car again without being in pain within half an hour.
I don't usually do gym classes but there was a core-based exercise class on recently when I happened to be there. I avoid these classes because they always seem to be about crunching people to death rather than constructively and thoughtfully helping them to strengthen their bodies.
I had been forced to cancel a pilates class last minute that week so I thought I would do the gym class and ignore the trainer when they told you to do 500 crunches in 30 seconds. Well Orna, to my complete surprise, I watched (much younger by decades) fellow class mates struggling and gasping on their mats while I "slayed" it, got through every single set with good control and walked out refreshed - what a good feeling!!!
